Fillings

Fillings are used to treat cavities your dentist may have found in your teeth. To treat a cavity, we will remove the decaying part of your tooth and then we will 'fill' the tooth in order to replace that part of your tooth. Not only do Fillings treat your cavities, they are also used to fix broken or cracked teeth.

The procedure for a filling begins with an anesthetic in order to numb that area of your mouth. Once we are sure that you won't feel anything. We will extract the decaying part of the tooth. We will test to find any remaining decaying teeth parts. Once its clear that there is nothing else needed to extract, we will fill the open tooth with a certain sort of filling depending on your medical history. At Grayson Family Dental Care, we make sure to make this process as convenient and relazing as possible.

Tooth Extraction

Tooth Extractions can be a fearful idea to many. At Grayson Family Dental Care, we make these as painless as possible.  Tooth extraction help keep certain cavities from spreading to other teeth and to make the mouth healthy. Other times, tooth exraction may be caused by an overcrowded mouth. Tooth extractions are always handled in a careful manner and we hold to the promise that it will be as painless as possible and be handled in the gentlest manner.

Root Canal

You hear many people getting Root canals or needing Root canals. Root canals are a common procedure that can be a little worriesome. At Grayson Family Dental care, we make it easy and painless. We do Root canals because inside your teeth there is a soft tissue called the pulp. The pulp has blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue; it also helps grow your teeth. When the pulp becomes inflamed or infected, it can have a lot of causes, deep decay, faulty crowns or a crack or chip in the tooth.

During Root Canals we remove the problem area of your tooth, the inside of your tooth will be cleaned and disenfected. After we're sure your tooth is completely clean, we will fill your tooth with a tooth covering called Gutta-peracha. Afterwards your tooth will be restored with either a crown or filling for protection.
